I tried your software but it didn't do what I had hoped it would do. I wanted to save streaming TV to a file for later viewing. The file was an swf Adobe TV file. I'll keep looking for an application.

I feel unlucky because your software isn't compatible wirh firefox 3.
As you know firefox 2 is no more supported, so he will ne nice your work with a new version.

no possibillity to install
Hi,
download was successfull. But it was not possible to install.
During installation a popup told me, because of security firefox 301 will not install this addon.
Iv'e got the newest Firefoxbrowser and I downloaded SWF Catcher two more times, but wenn I tried to install ever happend the same.

Why i can´t install it...?
The SWF Catcher is a very good Tool but i can´t it install in the Firefox 3.0 RC.
The Setup is canceling and shows "Can´t install,Update not suppurted",the Plugin-Manager strikes.

ok but...
Install was easy and no problem. But don't expect to download "youtube" because it does not work... Then again that's not a problem for me since I just needed to download a simple swf file.

I have used Sothink SWF Catcher for a couple days for grabbing educational materials for teachers in a school that I manage in Indonesia. There is so much great teaching material on the web, some in the form of SWF files. Since our internet is unstable, our students cannot always use these files in situ; hence downloading is preferred. Your program works very well, thank you.

SWF-Webvideos - Easy Catch
No matter wehre you find a video you like, most likely on youtube, with this programm, a small window opens and asks you, if you want to download it or not. You an choose where to download and give the file your own name - and voilà! You have it on your hard-disk. Easier way to get the video's you want will be hard to find.

It would be nice for this program to save the swf files that now see to be 'real time' only. I could not get it to work at all for the streaming swf files.

Still need more control.
Although I did like the way the sothink swf downloads and integrate with firefox, it does seem to take over.
Too much monitor real estate. I searched everywhere for a preference that will allow me to call the.
Interface rather than have it display at all time, but there is no such feature.
